ViCi are through to the ESL Pro League Season 8 Finals after defeating CyberZen 2-0 (16-13 on Overpass, 16-14 on Train).
The ESL Pro League Season 8 Asia finals saw ViCi and CyberZen reach the grand final after beating 2ez and Lucid Dream, respectively, in the previous stage of the bracket.
The deciding series kicked off on CyberZen's map pick, Overpass, but it was ViCi who started things off on the right foot, constantly denying their opponents to bag a dominant 13-2 half-time lead.
With Zhen "HZ" Huang, who finished the map with an impressive 1.39 rating, leading the way for his team, CyberZen went on a massive run to reduce the deficit to a single round, 13-14, but it was all in vain, as ViCi remained calm and collected to take the lead in the series.

Train was the polar opposite of the previous map, as both halves were highly contested by the two Chinese squads, with ViCi taking a narrow 8-7 lead on the Terrorist side. In the second half, CyberZen eventually turned the score around, 13-11, but then, with Andrew "kaze" Khong stepping up to the plate with 25 kills and a 1.41 rating, ViCi lost only one of the last six rounds to seal the deal and book their spot in Odense.
